Support for Vulnerable Women

Jul 25, 2025

Oysters Sand Arbor (OSA) Partners with LightSpeed Ahead (LSA) to Support Vulnerable Women

Oysters Sand Arbor (OSA), Lodge #810, recently met and coordinated with community leaders from the non-profit organization LightSpeed Ahead (LSA). During the meeting, Ms. Mickie Chandra and Ms. Michelle Worsham, both overseers of LSA, shared the powerful mission and vision of their organization, which is dedicated to protecting vulnerable women from further exploitation and advocating for their safety, dignity, and empowerment.

OSA is proud to commit its support to LSA’s initiatives. Together, the two organizations will work to raise awareness across local communities—both about LSA’s impactful programs and OSA’s ongoing mission of service and support to those in need. As a symbol of this growing partnership, OSA presented a $400 donation to LightSpeed Ahead to assist in their continued efforts.

Location: Oysters Sand Arbor HQ, Herndon, VA
