Impact Activity Honoring Our Veterans

Jul 17, 2026

In July, OSA proudly organized a meaningful Impact Activity honoring our Veterans and uniting the local community in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary of freedom.

The event brought together key pillars of the Herndon community: the Town of Herndon Government — represented by the Mayor and a Councilman — along with leaders from the business sector, the retiree community (including the Stars & Stripes NOVA Committee), and the next generation of young students.

The message of gratitude and respect rang out powerfully through the voices of 57 representatives from across these sectors — including a remarkable 98-year-old WWII Veteran.

This gathering served as a heartfelt expression of Kindness & Gratitude to our Veterans. Led by OSA, the community came together to affirm a powerful truth: the selfless sacrifices of our Veterans are worthy of enduring honor and celebration.
