Joining Hands for a Noble Cause
On November 14, 2025, we had the incredible opportunity to be part of the Rise Against Hunger meal-packing event at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Springfield, VA. This experience was not only fulfilling but also inspiring, as it brought together a community of caring volunteers who shared a common goal: to make a positive impact on families in need around the world.


A Moment of Service and Togetherness


As we engaged with fellow volunteers from the Oysters Sand Arbor and the Gleaner Life Service Club, we were reminded of the strength of community and the compassion that can flourish when we unite for a greater purpose. Each packed meal represented more than just food; it symbolized hope and support for those facing hunger. The event was well-organized, and every moment spent packing meals deepened our appreciation for teamwork and collaboration.
