Oysters Sand Arbor, 810 Volunteers Day 2024

Volunteers Have Heart
Despite the busyness of the season, OSA Volunteers brave the cold December Friday evening to come together and enjoy the company of each other, sharing their stories and light refreshments. OSA’s President Janie Umayam introduced Gleaner Life Insurance Society’s service club and welcomed groups/volunteers from the healthcare industry, education & student sector, technology experts, banking & finance partners as well as other retirees.
A Navy Veteran was honored commemorating Dec 7 Pearl Harbor. OSA’s VP & Gleaner Agent-In-Charge, Patrick Anderson emphasized the importance of the Veterans’ selfless sacrifices, and the impact of community volunteerism as the highlight of the spirit of giving and gratitude during this season.
Location: Oysters Sand Arbor HQ, Herndon VA
