Kids Summer Reading Program

Teaching the Value of Reading: A Community Initiative
The Importance of Reading Over Screens
Engaging Young Minds
Supporting Parents in the Journey
Understanding the significance of parental involvement, the program also provided parents with an overview of the Arbor, a local initiative dedicated to fostering reading habits among children. This overview helped parents become active participants in their children’s literary journey, equipping them with strategies to encourage reading at home. With the combined effort of OSA officers, volunteers, and supportive parents, the goal of promoting reading as a valued pastime instead of screen time becomes increasingly achievable.
